Brandnation's Sport PR team hosted the mother of all leg days in the gym with six-time Olympic gold medalist Jason Kenny, who was in London to launch Wiggle's new online gym category.
Wiggle had briefed the Brandnation Sport PR Team to communicate that time spent in the gym can help people improve and excel in their preferred sport so we enlisted the help of track cycling phenomenon Jason who provided an insight into his “gold medal workout" - guiding media through his routine at a private London gym. It's part of formula that has led him to become one of the most decorated British Olympians of all-time.
Media including The Telegraph, i newspaper and The Evening Standard were treated to an intimate one-to-one session with the cyclist, where they were able to uncover Jason's training secrets and learn how time spent in the gym has given him the edge on the track.
Bespoke photography was created for each journalist as well as an instructional video of the gym routine which was circulated to attendees and issued to media following the event.
The day also enabled Wiggle to create a wealth of social media content for their channels - using the profile of Jason to engage their audiences on the topics of training and conditioning.
The cyclist has recently reversed a decision to retire, claiming that the birth of his child has breathed new life into him. Jason is back in the gym with his sights set on Tokyo 2020.
