Edale Trek with ASP

Our client ASP is a luxury haircare brand supplying salon professionals’ expansive product ranges and educational courses to hair professionals. This September ASP is celebrating its 25th anniversary, and to mark the occasion ASP kicked off the month with a range of promotional events and brand activities.

As part of their activity, the brand wanted to raise money for the Hair and Beauty Charity, which is a UK-based charity helping those in need in the industry with financial support. Since the Coronavirus pandemic, the Hair and Beauty Charity have seen a 144% increase in requests for financial assistance, so ASP felt it was important to support in any way they could.

The Beauty PR Team organised a 25km walk for 25 years in the business. All money raised was donated back to the Hair & Beauty charity. On the 1st of October Brandnation joined the ASP team in the Peak District to walk the Edale Skyline Trek. The Edale Skyline Trek is the ultimate long-distance hike in the Peak District, with amazing views. The team walked to skyline of Edale and Hope Valley, with views of Ladybower Reservoir, Edale Rocks, Mam Tor, and the Ridge walk, Noe Stook, and Kinder Scout Low.

They set off at 8 am on Friday morning and completed the 25km by 5 pm. The circular walk took them across the Pennine way where the views stretched for miles.

ASP & Brandnation raised money for a charity that has been supporting people in the hair and beauty industry since 1836.
