Over the past two years, part of Brandnation’s wide ranging communications brief for fast growing cosmetics brand Sleek MakeUP, has been to assist the brand in building an extensive, proactive, engaged national and international blogger base. In addition to gaining access to Brandnation’s Blogger Network that now boasts over 1,500 UK and international bloggers, specific brand-relevant, beauty specific bloggers were targeted to join the brand dialogue and success.
Over the past year Brandnation and Sleek have hosted over a dozen blogger specific events and initiatives designed to entertain and reward bloggers with exclusive content, product information and brand and product access. This activity has proved hugely successful and influential and as a result a raft of bold new blogger-centric activities are planned for 2017.
As a special festive thank you to all those bloggers that have participated so fully in Sleek MakeUP’s success, the brand invited UK bloggers to an exclusive, celebratory lunch and get together at the Fenchurch restaurant, Sky Garden.
UK bloggers able to attend were served a three course meal in the stunning Vinoly Room. Kitted out by Brandnation’s Team Beauty with Sleek-themed hot pink flowers, and review boards covering the most recent brand launches and activities.
In addition to receiving a fun sneak peak into what’s in store for Sleek fans in 2017, each blogger was also treated to a personalised stocking filled to the brim with Sleek MakeUP goodies and some festive, themed biscuits from Biscuiteers. Attendees included Rachel Leary, Amy’s Makeup Box, Jennie Jenkins, Breeny Lee, Anchal MUA and Maddie Bruce.
2017 is set to be a huge year for Sleek MakeUP and there’s a lot of exciting projects in the pipeline. Watch this space...
