In between the jumping jacks and downwards facing dogs, Brandnation's Sport PR team has been busy launching Merrell's new partnership with Our Parks, a London based free fitness provider.
As part of Merrell's Nature's Gym campaign that inspires outdoor exercise, the brand has joined forces with Our Parks to encourage people of all abilities to use ‘nature’s gym’ to improve their health and fitness levels as well as bring a sense of pleasure and play to outdoor activity.
Exercising in the outdoors provides a raft of health benefits including improved mental wellbeing and great calorie consumption. Londoners can now turn up and tone up without spending a penny at a themed Nature’s Gym fitness class in London parks throughout summer.
Brandnation's sports PR team hosted an exclusive media HIIT yoga class in the glorious morning sun in Hyde Park as influencers, bloggers and journalists got their blood pumping before work. Brandnation's content team captured photography and video of the session that was then distributed to attendees to share across their media platforms and social media channels.
Merrell has launched a series of outdoor shoes perfect for a Nature’s Gym workouts, including the Merrell Bare Access 4 which was gifted to attendees to road test at the session. Key media are also being delivered Nature's Gym inspiration boxes to further raise awareness of the campaign and help drive coverage and brand interaction.
The activity is being amplified across both Merrell's and Our Parks' social media channels, capturing the public enjoying outdoor exercise using #NaturesGym.
