McVities | Content Campaign


McVitie’s is synonymous with biscuits and we LOVE biscuits so you can imagine our delight when we were tasked with creating all the Christmas promotional content for all the brands in the McVitie’s stable.


The brief was to deliver video in various formats for social media and online ads plus stills and giffs – all with a really creative and engaging festive approach. Brands included in the brief included Jaffa Cakes, Chocolate Digestives, Nibbles, Hobnobs and all the special festive and variety assortment packs thereof. What’s more, to balance off the sweet side we were also briefed to provide a wide variety of content for Jacob’s (owned by McVitie’s parent company Pladis). This included savoury biscuit and snacks ranges including Jacob’s cream crackers, twiglets and biscuits for cheese variety packs.


What can we say – the hectic shoot involved videographers and photographers working in tandem with the Brandnation creative and content teams to deliver in excess of 20 videos and hundreds of stills and giffs. These were used in a variety of ways and on different social channels over the key festive period earning a huge number of likes and shares and smashing KPIs.

Best news of all was what to do with all those opened packs of biscuits and fresh food props? Needless to say the production team was very enthusiastically greeted back in the office!
