We’ve been channelling our inner John Motson (minus the sheepskin coat) to capitalise on our football knowledge with our client, Football Index.
New to the platform?
Football Index is where football and finance intersect – a football stockmarket where football fans can buy and sell “shares” in footballers. In the betting industry, it’s the new kid on the block and in recent years has experienced a meteoric rise thanks to offering an engaging and compelling alternative to fixed-odds betting.
Brandnation has been flying the Football Index flag, working with the platform to place them at the heart of daily football conversations, help them reach their target audience and support their sponsorship agreements.
So, what did we do?
We partnered with JOE.co.uk to deliver a Transfer Deadline Day content campaign that saw the JOE team work with the Jamie Vardy lookalike – with the aim of convincing Arsenal fans outside the Emirates that Vardy was joining the club. The content campaign generated 1.2 million engagements – stealing a share of voice on this sacred day in the football calendar.
The team has been generating match-day awareness. As fans across the country sip on their Bovril and tuck into their chicken balti pies, we’ve been providing sports media with of-the-moment branded stats – regularly featuring on live football blogs including Mail Online, Evening Standard and Express Online.
Brandnation has also been supporting the blossoming Football Index Official Podcast – securing guests including media and talent to chat all things football and supporting building the brand’s community through this ever-popular medium.
We’re excited to continue supporting Football Index on their winning streak and changing the face of sports betting.
