OVERVIEW

Brandnation was tasked with the design and development of iconic fashion brand GUESS’s first-ever app. Designed to showcase the brand’s stunning new jewelry and watch ranges for men and women.

The resulting app we produced included AR functionality that pinged in-store POS materials to life. Therefore, giving consumers the opportunity to win exclusive prizes. One prize being VIP tickets to an exclusive GUESS VIP club night in Paris with superstar DJ Tiesto.

A fully integrated campaign

The new GUESS app was the centerpiece of a coordinated launch campaign. The app launch included an event and social media support. We included a dedicated Facebook app; retail support through a number of key GUESS stockists nationwide; various data capture initiatives and a major experiential event that took place at the GUESS UK flagship store on Regent’s Street. This generated huge attention as well as stimulating a 200% increase in footfall on the day.

AR innovation

Cutting edge AR technology was built into our App. This technology enabled us to provide a unique experiential customer experience. The App brought to life GUESS’s amazing new product ranges. A built-in prize mechanic, promoted through POS in-store, and through social media helped drive traffic. This helped to further incentivize a greater number of purchases.

Express App Delivery

The concept to download on IOS or ANDROID took just six months. The project included all creative work, from app build, videography, AR content, and animations. We also ensured that the app supports POS material and social promotion.

Winning More Shelf Space

In conclusion, the scale of the new campaign created a major industry buzz. Therefore it also created a buzz around the GUESS watches and jewelry brand. GUESS was able to secure more all-important shelf and window space amongst its key retailers at a key buying time. In addition, consumer data capture mechanics secured over 25,000 newly signed up UK brand fans. There was a huge uplift in GUESS brand followers in addition to their social media following.
