The Beauty PR team was tasked to launch a first to market organic Bee Venom range of skincare to consumers. Briefed to elevate the brand and focus on the unique core ingredients with its effective anti-ageing properties, the team activated a targeted PR campaign with Beauty media and KOLs with the aim to educate, inspire and engage and deliver sales for this new anti ageing category.
Top beauty media ad editors were invited for a luxury bee venom facial with award winning (and Camilla The Duchess of Cornwall’s) facialist, Deborah Mitchell at the exclusive Hale Clinic in London. This luxury VIP treatment was supported by an in depth briefing from Deborah herself and each journalist was gifted with a full heaven hamper and of course the limited edition Bee venom cream.
This activity was support with a full press gifting of the hero product and a been venom media pack – highlighting all the great bee related stats.
Heaven skincare were left wrinkle (and worry) free from the results we achieved, with full page editorials in The Telegraph, YOU Magazine, and even Vanity Fair. The campaign delivered a real buzz with 100% positive sentiment as the coverage kept swarming in with a final reach of over 2million. The sales? Products sold out in an instant!
