Overview:

Iconic fight brand Lonsdale is the UK’s undisputed ‘king of the ring’ with a heavy weight marketing schedule to complement and a healthy stable of sponsored boxing talent hungry for promotion.

What We Did:

Our sports and creative teams were tasked with the videography and creative for The Lonsdale Challenge – an event to celebrate the brand’s 50th anniversary – a three way gym-based challenge featuring pro boxers Carl Froch and John ‘Jaffa’ Jefferies.

We also supported the launch of the Fight Zone at London’s iconic Lillywhite’s sports store as well as the campaign with a boxing themed London Fashion Week collaboration with Olympic gold medal holder and brand amabassador James DeGale. 

Our PR team also launched a special Help For Heroes boxing range with ambassador PA’s including Carl Froch, Nathan Cleverley, Tom ‘Kong’ Watson and Joe Calzaghe.

Results:

Year on year PR coverage for the fight brand has increased 35% as the brand extends out from the boxing ring into all forms of fightsports and fitness.

Numerous media events include the opening of the Lonsdale Fightzone in Lillywhite’s, the launch of a special Help for Heroes range and PA’s with Mike Tyson and Joe Calzaghe.
