Brandnation’s Beauty Team was tasked with launching the new and exclusive product range from former music industry PR and designer turned Menopause Advocate, Meg Mathews.
First, the launch event, located at the perfectly pink Elan Café in Knightsbridge as the backdrop for our pink menopause products, we organised an exclusive media breakfast, hosted by Meg, to talk about intimate women’s health. Meg introduced her product range to attendees followed by an extensive Q&A session.
The taboo topic was well and truly put to bed, with no question out of bounds – Meg was more than happy to answer anything about her menopause experience with media. Just what we needed to really get the conversation around menopause started! Media enjoyed a vegan breakfast, to reflect the vegan product range, and Meg’s own Meno Blend Vitamin, Mineral & Superfood Supplement.
The BN Beauty Team booked a series of 1-2-1 interviews with Meg herself resulting in extensive profile features about Meg & the brand, each featuring a call to action for the exclusive stockist, Superdrug.
Accompanying the launch was an extensive seeding programme to media, influencers and VIPs to create more buzz around the brand – we wanted everyone talking about MegsMenopause, and we got it! With extensive print & online features in titles, including Closer, Express Online, Mail Online, Marie Claire and Vogue, all with Superdrug call to action within launch month.
MegsMenopause product range was an instant hit with media and influencers, using Meg’s celebrity profile and personal experience of going through the menopause to amplify the campaign, create buzz and drive sales.
