MT Finance | Brand & Web Campaign


MT Finance is a multi-award-winning property finance lender. Set up in 2008, they specialise in bridging loans and auction finance. The company is fast growing and had outgrown both its original branding and website. Brandnation’s Digital and SEO team stepped in to help transform the brand.


Brandnation’s digital and creative teams were delighted to be tasked by the marketing team at MT Finance to both refresh the brand proposition and create a new and improved online brand and website presence for the company covering both its ‘consumer’ and ‘trade’ audiences.

MT Finance is a sector disruptor and likes to do things a little differently to its competition – and is proud to have assisted numerous property professionals, business owners, and individuals with their finance requirements. MT Finance also enjoys a reputation in its market for excelling in the delivery of fit-for-purpose short-term loans at speed. This and its unique approach to lending is something that has led to the company being consistently recognised within the financial services industry with a raft of top awards.


Task one for Brandnation’s creative team was to take a look at the existing MT Finance branding, quirkily featuring a penguin. We loved the idea of the penguin and the unusual approach but felt the existing brand had got tired, was too obscure and needed a full refresh. This we did – whilst staying true to the existing corporate colour palette of blue, grey and orange, but refining and regulating the use of each colour as well as creating a new, better, stronger, faster penguin logo and intruding a bolder more substantial font.


Then it was onto the new website. This was designed and built from the ground up to accommodate both the new corporate design and graphic approach as well various specific requirements of the web platform, including integration with Salesforce. The new website has an Antarctic theme in keeping with the company’s beloved penguins and aims for an uncluttered feel whilst still providing consumer and trade users with detailed information about the company and its products and services.


We were delighted with the result and so was the client. Once the new brand approach was agreed Brandnation created new brand guidelines for MT Finance covering all print and digital use and these were put to use immediately in producing a number of brand re-launch printed items and collateral materials including notebooks, folders and HTML mailers..
