Marginal gains make the difference. And when it comes to the use of science in sport, the importance of nailing your nutrition, has never been more important.
We were briefed to create an exclusive social media-based ambassador programme packed with challenge hungry endurance athletes and top-level footballers to drive an increase in brand awareness and sales of Science in Sport (SiS) products. It was time to clip in our cleats, lace up our trainers and recruit.
Drawing on the team’s collective 20 years of knowledge in the sports and social media markets and our bespoke database of influencer contacts, top-class targets were sourced and secured.
To date, the team has recruited over 70 top tier athletes including Leeds United super striker @Roofe, two-time British Hill Climb Champion @danevanscycling and ITU Sprint Distance Duathlon World Champion @duathlongirluk to take on their SiS Rego energy gel and drive the conversation to SiS’ social media channels.
Upon signing on the dotted line, our ambassadors have provided SiS’ social channels and e-commerce with at-home nutrition tutorials, marathon fuelling masterclasses and bespoke blog pieces on nutrition and performance. All of this on top of a marathon of posts logging their training improvements #Fuelledbyscience.
It’s not just been race day PB’s for our athletes to celebrate – results have been significant across the board.
