Brandnation’s Beauty PR and Influencer team had been briefed to support the launch of Beauty Hygiene Plus, the new beauty hygiene brand that has launched a range of products, each with a unique formulation for different beauty products and tools, that quickly and easily cleans and sanitises all makeup products, brushes and beauty tools we launched ‘Artists in Residence’ an innovative new awareness campaign that features influential makeup artists.
During the ‘Artist in Residence’ campaign the artists shared tips and tricks to create the latest makeup trends, alongside emulating their own go-to looks. They will also be demonstrating how they use the Beauty Hygiene Plus cleaning and sanitising product range themselves, to keep their own makeup kits bacteria and virus free and prevent the transmission of ‘nasties’ such as herpes and conjunctivitis.
Leading the campaign was celebrity MUA Lisa Armstrong. Lisa is one of the UK’s most talented, high profile and award-winning makeup artists. Since 2007, she has been Chief Makeup and Hair Designer on the BBC’s flagship Strictly Come Dancing show, where she is responsible for creating the amazing celebrity makeup looks.
What we did:
Agency arranged and executed a content shoot day with Lisa to encompass three different scenarios from high glam to everyday wear on models. As well as demonstrating her own creations, she provided top hints, techniques, and tips for anyone wishing to achieve stunning makeup effects. This created vital assets across all digital channels, for social media, the brand website, as well as creative assets for media.
Our Beauty PR team secured an exclusive interview with Lisa and the Mail online, in the showbiz/lifestyle section and we also managed to secure a teaser to the feature on the sidebar of the Mail online, which is great in terms of driving traffic. The piece included quotes from Lisa on the range, focusing on the two hero products from Beauty Hygiene Plus, imagery from the shoot with Lisa, as well as a video. MPV for mail online – 360M. Similarly, securing a social media package with Lisa including 1 x IG Reel, 1 x IG Story and 1 x IG Post so that Lisa could showcase to her followers her favourite tips and tricks when using the range and why it is a gamer changer when it comes to her beauty hygiene routine
