ACTIVITY: Influencer Activation Campaign

INFLUENTIAL COMMUNICATIONS: Big is beautiful. And when it comes to influencer marketing campaigns in the beauty industry, nothing was ever truer. This one was a sell-out.
We were briefed to execute an exclusive influencer press trip to support an NPD collection and drive an increase in following and engagement on the Sleek MakeUP social channels. It was time to roll up our sleeves, put on the warpaint....and flex.
We needed a location to do the legendary summer of 2018 justice (the heatwave that lasted a lifetime, the World Cup, LOVE ISLAND - take us back) - where else than the Ibiza closing parties?
The team recruited a squad of 18 top tier influencers including @xthuyle, @kazcrossley and @theplasticboy to take over the White Island, providing VIP access to the best parties across three days.
We co-ordinated content shoots with the influencers such as Sleek MakeUP tutorials and takeovers promote the new product launches over the course of the trip. And, because the trip was so lit, we generated reams of organic social posts.
The results were unreal - so good in fact, that the client could have kissed us (wearing the Sleek MakeUP Lip Shot G loss, obvz).
The activation generated over 400 social posts that resulted in a 200,000 increase in social following for Sleek MakeUP in just three days. There was also a total social media reach of an unprecedented 150,000,000.
But did it work, we hear you cry. Sales of new products revealed on the trip sold out within hours of going live, including Highlighting Elixir sales skyrocketing by 232% on forecast, selling out on Feel Unique, Look Fantastic, boots.com and ASOS.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is Sleek AF.
