We were briefed to execute an exclusive influencer press trip to support three hero product launches and drive an increase in following on Sleek’s instagram. It was time to roll up our sleeves, put on the warpaint….and flex.
We needed a location to do the legendary summer of 2018 justice (the heatwave that lasted a lifetime, the World Cup, LOVE ISLAND – take us back) – where else than the Ibiza closing parties?
The team recruited a squad of 18 top tier international influencers, including UK faves @xthuyle, @kazcrossley and @theplasticboy to takeover the White Island, providing VIP access to the best parties across three days culminating with a Craig David Pool Party @ Ibiza Rocks
We co-ordinated content shoots and insta takeovers at the hottest hotel in town, Hotel Paradiso and because the trip was so lit, we generated reams of organic social posts.
The results were unreal – so good in fact, that the client could have kissed us (wearing the Sleek MakeUP Lip Shot Gloss Impact, obvz).
The activation generated over 400 social posts that resulted in a 200,000 increase in social following for Sleek MakeUP in just three days. There was also a total social media reach of an unprecedented 150 MILLION!
But did it work, we hear you cry. Sales of new products revealed on the trip sold out within hours of going live with four major beauty retailers, including Highlighting Elixir skyrocketing and surpassing all forecasts.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is Sleek AF.
