AI’s journey toward reliability involves transparency, accountability, and the occasional human intervention. While LLMs like ChatGPT have made great strides by incorporating more editorially sound sources, they’re still prone to those occasional blunders.

Getting AI to work reliably in critical sectors will require constant oversight, much like training a good intern. It has potential but needs a solid mentor to guide it.

In the case of LLMs, their reliance on editorial sources is helping improve their trustworthiness, but they’re still prone to mistakes. As AI continues to evolve, we’ll need to see more regulation and ethical guidelines in place to ensure it’s being used responsibly.

As AI marches into 2026, we’re not just talking smarter models, we’re talking AI agents.

The next wave of systems built to take on complex tasks, streamline workflows and essentially act as backstage managers for LLMs. They refine instructions, structure problems, and feed polished prompts back into the machine.

Though impressive, these systems are not autonomous. While these agents can supercharge output, they also supercharge the risks, heightening the chance of bias, blandness, and brand-blind decision-making all compound at scale.
