The brief was simply, to build awareness of the brand and campaigns direct to consumers and provide retail support for their extensive independent stores nationwide. Our PR and retail team was instrumental in delivering seasonal country specific activations in addition to supporting the annual brand campaign for this iconic ophthalmic brand. The evolution began with activating Silhouette’s annual designer collaboration, with both the ‘A’ list and local country specific talent – ensuring that the designers not only ‘ticked all the boxes’ but shared the brand’s vision.
Silhouette’s first collaboration started with the super cool London based design duo, Felder Felder to create the NEW Felder Felder range.
Our fashion and retail PR teams took part in London Fashion Week – showcasing sunglass style with the Felder Felder team’s AW14 collection. Situated in the impressive Freemasons Hall, Annette and Daniela Felder perfectly set-off their stunning designs with Silhouette by Felder Felder colourful frames. Complementing amazing, graceful garments on show, were a series of Silhouette sunglasses in a range of colours from rainbow-bright pinks and oranges, to neutral greens and browns. The show was a big hit with the celebrities and press present with the agency delivering national and broadsheet editorial worth £300K in two weeks.
Wes Gordon for Silhouette is the most recent designer collaboration from luxury eyewear brand Silhouette, it’s also the first time Wes Gordon has ever designed accessories!
The 60s inspired frames were debuted on the catwalk during Gordon’s SS16 show at New York Fashion Week. The frames combine high fashion with technology, creating luxury frames that are some of the lightest in the world! The frames come in nude brown, classic grey, classic green and ocean blue.
Guests, including the likes of Vogue, Cosmopolitan and Elle, were able to meet and chat to Wes about what the collaboration means to him as inspiration behind creating the collection. Press were also given the opportunity to meet the Silhouette team and try the frames on for themselves.
Gordon’s designs are worn by the likes of Katy Perry, Kim Kardashian and Gwyneth Paltrow and his first foray into the world of accessories has already been spotted on Solange Knowles. Agency smashed their KPIs with feature editorial being delivered over a six month period worth £825K
Silhouette being an Austrian eyewear brand collaborated with one of its home country’s most promising talents, fashion designer Arthur Arbesser. Debuting at Arbesser’s SS17 Milan Fashion Week show, ‘Arthur Arbesser for Silhouette’ is a collection that offers a strong sense of style, and a tailored quality, reduced to its essential elements for optimum elegance. Arthur’s collection resulted in four unisex frames inspired by the lifestyle of Arthur Miller during the time he was married to Marilyn Monroe.
We took to Soho’s Ham Yard hotel for a press evening, with Arthur Arbesser and Silhouette in attendance. We had a full house with Sunday Times Style and Vogue in attendance, resulting in both national and international headlines.
