Big is beautiful. And when it comes to influencer marketing campaigns in the beauty industry, nothing was ever truer. This one was a sell out.
We were briefed to execute an exclusive influencer press trip to support an NPD collection and drive an increase in following and engagement on the Sleek MakeUP social channels. It was time to roll up our sleeves, put on the warpaint….and flex.
The team recruited a squad of 18 top tier influencers including @xthuyle, @kazcrossley and @theplasticboy to takeover the White Island, providing VIP access to the best parties across three days.
We co-ordinated content shoots with the influencers such as Sleek MakeUP tutorials and takeovers promote the new product launches over the course of the trip. And, because the trip was so lit, we generated reams of organic social posts.
The results were unreal – so good in fact, that the client could have kissed us (wearing the Sleek MakeUP Lip Shot Gloss, obvz).
The campaign was the catalyst to invest further in influencer marketing in subsequent years and the beginnings of a long-term ambassador programme.
