Brief
The sun never sets on the SunGod business as goes it from strength to strength in its mission to See Better. The British performance eyewear brand and B-Corp was founded in 2013 by husband-and-wife duo Ali and Zoe Watkiss after quitting their London jobs to seek more time spent outdoors.
Over the last decade, the entrepreneurs have built an enviable international brand that puts people and the planet first whist manufacturing innovative, performance-led sunglasses and ski goggles.
The brand is powered by community, from those who have invested in SunGod to the stable of ambassadors, athletes, charities, and pro teams they partner with such as McLaren Racing F1, Great Britain SailGP Team, TEKKERZ and Surfers Against Sewage.
Brandnation was briefed to amplify these partnerships and unique corporate narrative.
The idea
Brandnation has been working with SunGod to support its corporate PR output – building the business profile of Zoe and Ali and communicating its key milestones such as its B Corp certification and its crowdfund raise in which SunGod raised £3m in just 79 minutes.
Our team created a corporate narrative that shined a light on the brand’s sustainability credentials and positioned SunGod as a leader in better business practice.
The team’s has also worked to activate the brand’s key sponsorships – including their landmark partnerships with McLaren F1 and Ineos Grenadiers.
