Brief
Together with Columbia, we’ve been curating our own unique position within the outdoor space. One that puts a premium on a good time when stepping outside.
Tapping into the American brands playful persona, we were tasked with creating a brand experiential that could be adapted to provide a unique experience for Columbia stakeholders – from brand ambassadors and media to retailers – showcasing the new seasonal collection and hero products to drive brand heat.
The Idea
Ever wondered what it’s like to dine at the UK’s most remote pop-up gastropub? Nestled away in rural East Sussex, we created The Foragers Arms, taking immersive dining to a whole new level.
Only accessible by hiking off-grid to get to a table, guests were required to forage for their meal on the journey in. Diners had to delve deep into the ancient woodlands of the South Downs National Park to source wild ingredients for a three-course tasting menu before the meal is prepared and cooked on fires in front of them.
The experience was led by chef, author and foraging expert Nick Weston, founder of Hunter Gather Cook. Amongst the ingredients patrons foraged on the forest floor were wild garlic, Alexanders, ground ivy, hawthorn, cow parsley, hogweed and jelly ear mushrooms.
The experience was used as a platform to bring a flavour of fun and a unique experience to engaging brand ambassadors, media and retailers – bringing to life Columbia’s culture-fuelled interpretation of hike.
